Stern v. California Department of Correction, et al.

A nonsmoking prisoner sued the prison, its warden and other named defendants, alleging that they failed to comply with state law requiring no smoking in prison and the posting of signs at the entrances and exits.  Stern’s complaint alleges violations of his Fifth, Eighth and Fourteenth Amendment rights.
