Graff v. Thermal Control, Inc. and Temperature Control, Inc.

A woman who was fired for violating a company policy prohibiting off-the-job smoking by employees sued her employer, alleging that the policy infringed on her privacy rights.  A district court judge granted the companies’ motion for summary judgment.  Graff has appealed the decision.  This case was featured on ABC’s “20/20” on January 24, 1992.
