This website provides searchable summaries of legal cases regarding smoking in the workplace and other places. Whether the dispute is about smoke in the home, disability discrimination, prisons, employment, or child custody, this is where you will find information about it.

We are calling this “Smoke Litigation,” but it refers to legal disputes in the United States involving tobacco smoke exposure.  This includes secondhand smoke, (SHS), environmental tobacco smoke (ETS), passive smoking, and even third hand smoke (toxic off-gassing post-smoke exposure).

Below you will find the search engine to locate particular cases.  Or you may select by state or type of case in the categories selector to the right.

The information contained here has been compiled by Tobacco Products Liability Project Senior Attorney Edward Sweda over more than 25 years.
